Loaves & Fishes: Partners in Health (Jan-Feb 2020)

Loaves & Fishes Partners in Health is now taking sign-ups for volunteers for the January-February 2020 session!

Partners in Health will have volunteers at Loaves & Fishes Friendship Park every Tuesday & Thursday starting January 7, 2020, until February 27, 2020. Volunteer shifts will be from 10 AM to 2 PM. Ideally, we would prefer student volunteers who have completed Health Assessment 1 and 2. At least one team lead will also be present at each shift. Volunteers will be performing nursing skills such as taking vital signs, simple wound care, and patient education.

 

Why volunteer at Loaves & Fishes?

• Members of CNSA will earn 2 points for each completed volunteer shift.
  
• It is an opportunity to practice nursing skills and patient communication in the field.
• Volunteers will be able to give back to their community using their knowledge as nursing students.
